2. Collection and storage of personal data when visiting our website, and the nature and purpose of its use

When you visit our website abd-partner.de, your browser automatically transmits information to our server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following data is collected without any action on your part and retained until it is automatically deleted:

Date and time of access,
Name and URL of the retrieved file,
Website from which access is made (referrer URL),
Browser type and, where applicable, the operating system of your computer and the name of your access provider.

We process the above data for the following purposes:

5. Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager on our website. Google Tag Manager is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google").

Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows us to manage our website tags via a single interface. A tag is a code element embedded in the source code of the website to control, for example, which page or service elements and tools are activated and loaded in what order. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-free domain and does not collect or store personal data. Google Tag Manager only triggers other tags, which may in turn collect data. In some cases, the data is processed on a Google server in the USA. Google Tag Manager cannot access this data.

If you have deactivated at domain or cookie level, this deactivation will remain in effect for all tracking tags implemented via Google Tag Manager.

6. Google Analytics

Subject to your consent, which may be revoked at any time, our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of our service provider Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your computer and that enable analysis of your use of the website.

The legal basis for data processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(1)(a) GDPR. The transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR; Google LLC is certified under the DPF.

On our behalf, Google will use the transmitted information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide further services to us in connection with the use of the website and the internet. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

You can also restrict data collection by Google Analytics by downloading and installing the browser add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Please note that the add-on has limited effectiveness for Google Analytics 4; the most reliable opt-out method is to withdraw your consent via our cookie banner.

Where your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR to object to the processing of your personal data, provided that grounds exist relating to your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without specification of a particular situation.
