Tobias Bystry

Tobias Bystry is an attorney in Berlin and founding partner of ab&d Rechtsanwälte. He advises companies in trademark and competition law as well as corporate law – with a clear focus on commercially viable solutions.

His clients are mid-sized companies, freelancers, start-ups and managing directors who expect an attorney who not only works with legal precision but also thinks strategically and gives clear recommendations. They value him as a business advisor in the best sense: as a first point of contact when business decisions have a legal dimension.

In trademark and competition law, his focus lies on enforcing and defending claims – particularly in preliminary injunction proceedings – as well as the strategic management of contentious disputes. In corporate law, he advises primarily GmbHs, their managing directors and shareholders: from incorporation through growth and restructuring measures to sale.

Tobias Bystry studied law at the University of Konstanz and graduated as the best of his year in 2005. After his legal traineeship in Berlin, he passed a second distinction examination. In 2018 he completed the specialist training course in commercial and corporate law and the preparatory course for the notarial professional examination. He advises in German and English.

He is married and the father of two sons. When he is not at the office, he is out and about with his family and his VW T3 "Felix".
